The world is amazing.
Everything I saw and experienced overseas; the cities, the countryside and the people can only be described as amazing. I got lost in my surroundings. Felt the enormity of the Eiffel tower take my breath away as I stood beneath it, the fresh Irish air fill my lungs, stood in awe of my surroundings everywhere I went.
In those moments, everything else melted away. I felt completely detached from everything, everything apart from what lay before me. I needed that.

I like taking photographs of simple things, happy things, sad things, hopeful and tragic things, things that capture the essence of life just as it is. Things that some may not stop long enough to see, things that are seldom acknowledged.
I notice things.
Like the way the moon has been an upside down sliver in the sky, like it is smiling down at us, for the past few nights. The white blossoms on the trees at uni, a piece of beauty indicating the first signs of spring. Sometimes I find myself just standing there, staring, smiling to myself as I take it in.
Its small things like these that can always make me smile, make me happy, no matter how I may be feeling.
The world is amazing, which is why I enjoy capturing it through my camera
